As a missionary and inspired by the love of God to serve humanity and to make Christ known in the world, our journey has taken us to many wonderful places.

St. Bryce Missions first started in Costa Rica while serving the church in the evangelization of the remote Cabecar indigenous tribe. While in Costa Rica we noticed an incredible need for a maternity hostel that would care for the multitude of pregnant women coming from remote jungle homes as a safe house where they could be safe near a hospital for the remainder of their pregnancies. We founded Casa San Franciso for his purpose (Read more below)

Water Wells

When the call to give chapels to the impoverished missionary areas of the world became realized we soon were contacted by Father Lijeesh of the Missionary Order of the Blessed Sacrament and agreed to funda capel for one of his remote missionary substations. Father Lijeesh informed us that the people could come to Mass but were in desperate need of basic necessities such as water and food. Much has progressed in the 8 years since we have been partners with the Missionary ‘Congregation and in one location where we developed water well there is a fully operating parish now. We continue to provide fresh water for the many communities that need it which affects thousands of lives in the African Sub-Saharan region of Tanzania. St.Bryce Missions has brought clean water to over 8000 people

PREGNANCY HOSTEL

CASA SAN FRANCISCO

The Casa San Francisco pregnancy and medical children’s hostel is a project located in the Central region of Costa Rica which served an indigenous population of over 30,000 people in the area of prenatal and postnatal care by providing a safe house for expectant mothers to stay near the hospital during their pregnancies. With over 1000 women and children staying a year we were able to develop the resources to provide shelter and care which ultimately led to a 50% reduction in infant mortality. The hostel started small then grew into a 20 bed 7000 square feet pregnancy facility which also served as a children’s medical hostel. which serves the women and children of the Cabecar reserve with a demographic of about 30,000 people. In our time in serving there, St. Bryce Missions was responsible for helping reduce the rate of infant mortality by 50%. A program for evangelization and reception of the sacraments was started for this previously un-evangelized tribe of people.
